This crazy life!

Man, life is busy right now! I know it will be this way until after Christmas. Nick had orientation for his new part-time job the past two days, soccer practice Monday, church tonight, meetings after school tomorrow, gotta get Kids' Market stuff ready Friday...then Saturday morning is Kids' Market drop off, going to Academy to get Peyton's soccer stuff, then Christopher's birthday party. WHEW! And next week isn't any better.

I was nursing Andrew on the couch last night and looked down at him. He had fallen asleep in my lap. As I watched him, I realized that his legs now wrap around the side of my waist. He has grown so much. I asked Nick, "When did he get so big?" It's been a month since I came back to work and it seems that he has grown exponentially. I cannot believe he will be FIVE MONTHS OLD in 11 short days. Where is the time going???? I want it back. I want to gobble up every morsel of this first year and hold on to it forever.

To all the new mommies and mommies-to-be...treasure it and don't worry about what other people say. Who cares if you hold them too much? Who cares if they sleep in bed with you? There will always be time for you to help them grow up. For now, just enjoy all the love you can hold and let them be little.

I know what you mean. I substituted for the first time today and then I have to get everything ready for Christopher's birthday. I have to clean the house, bake and decorate the cake, wrap the gifts, etc.
My babies are almost 9 and 5. The time really does fly. Most of the time one or the other is in the bed with me when I wake in the morning.

I always said that I wasn't going to hold mine all the time but I feel exactly like you. I will probably hold her all day and if she gets spoiled so be it. I want to cherish every moment with her. They grow so last. I can hardly wait to hold my precious Caylee Grace. Yes I've noticed how fast Andrew is growing up. He is so precious. I can't believe he will be 5 months. Wow time does fly by. I know about hectic week. I have no idea how I'm going to get oranized before Caylee Grace gets here. We are trying to look for a house to rent or buy now so we can be in it before Caylee Grace gets here so I'm going to be so busy and try to get the last rest I can before I don't get anymore. Sorry for the long comment. Hang in there.
